    I faced the same problem, and this is how it got resolved

    My microphone failed repeatedly. It would work for a few days after the factory reset. But the problem would recur again.

    I tried the Samsung Tutor App.

    The executive accessed my phone online and She said that she was doing “Clearing Storage of the Sound”.

    And after that my microphone is working fine.
